How to activete new delivery method

Assuming you are on the Eomm back-end system, locate "Delivery methods" option under "Settings" menu tab. The following screen contents should look as below.

The offered option are to ADD and DELETE delivery methods.

Adding delivery methods

Delivery methods are being added by clicking "Add" button. It is required to input various input fields. Confirm selection by clicking "Confirm". Mandatory ones are "Title", "VAT", "ERP CODE" and "Language". Other ones express delivery method even further.

1. "Title" designates delivery method name,
2. "Description" provides additional short description of delivery method,
3. "Long description" provides longer description of delivery method,
4. "Active" checkbox publishes delivery method on live site,
5. "Price with VAT" means sum of price including VAT rate,
6. "VAT" means percentage of VAT of corresponding country (Language),
7. "Free over" means free delivery over selected price,
8. "URL for tracking" provides ability to track delivery through generated URL for tracking,
9. "ERP CODE" is an unique numerical code, describing a delivery method,
10. "Postage Type" is a dropdown list, providing ability to set value based on delivery properties or fixed value (manual).
11. "Language" designates delivery language, matching the localisation,
12. "Image" is optional upload of delivery method icon,
13. "Parcel machine" checkbox designates a delivery machine, a self-pickup,
14. "System property" is an identifier in the back-end system (please provide it with sense),
15. "Print label" checkbox allows the download of generated shipment label.

Confirm selection by saving.

"Fields" tab allows to add the ability to control delivery fee or value, where delivery is free. Add new entry by clicking "Add" button. Event spawns empty table with no entries. First of all, select correct language from dropdown list. Afterwards, click on the "Add" button in far right of the table. Empty entry with input fields spawns. Select a range (Min - Max) for delivery fee and/or additional entry for free delivery value range. Delete unwanted entries by clicking "Trash" icon on the far right. Confirm selection by saving.

"Selected" tab displays created "Fields" tables.

Deleting delivery methods

On the home page of "Delivery methods" menu option, there is DELETE button. before the button is clicked, check the method/s to be deleted. Event removes selections from table.
